Dr. Lalit Kumar, the BMT specialist, through his specialized knowledge of stem cell transplantation and hematological cancer treatment, leads the oncological department at Artemis. Throughout his 25-year medical career, he once led Medical Oncology as a professor and school director at AIIMS New Delhi. Dr. Lalit Kumar has earned an MBBS and an MD from Sarojini Naidu Medical College, Agra, and has also completed DM Medical Oncology from the Adyar Cancer Institute and a post-doctoral fellowship from Hammersmith Hospital, London. The Padma Shri and Dr. B.C. Roy Award winner has created affordable bone marrow transplant methods.
