Dr. Tejinder Kataria is a well-established cancer specialist and Chairperson of Radiation Oncology at Medanta Gurugram, whose reputation was built by helping to introduce technology in cancer treatment in India. Experience of more than 35 years has helped Dr. Kataria to head the superior radiation oncology departments in Medanta, Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute, and Artemis Health Institute. She also introduced VMAT Infinity Linear Accelerator, the first in India and the first Integrated Brachytherapy Unit in North India, along with initiating stereotactic radiation therapy in India and a variety of other innovative techniques in Radiotherapy at Medanta. Dr. Kataria is experienced in the treatment of cancer by the use of Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT), which is most accurate, Intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), and Image-guided therapy (IGRT).
