Prof. (Dr.) Atul Sharma is a leading cancer doctor with a remarkable experience of cancer treatment of over 27 years. Being the current Vice Chairman of Max Healthcare, he has extensive and fabulous experience in AIIMS as Professor and Head of the Department of Medical Oncology in eminent designs. After completing M.B.B.S., MD - General Medicine, and DM - Medical Oncology, he is well aware of the management of complicated cases of cancer, characterizing his academic life. Dr. Sharma is a member of various highly renowned professional national and international organizations, among which are the European Society of Medical Oncology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology, which acknowledge his innovative research and clinical competence. He has given keynotes at the most prominent oncology conferences, as well as authored over 350 research publications. Among his awards are: ISMPO Oration, Oncology Research Award, Excellence Award in Medical Oncology, to mention but a few that testify to the immense contributions made towards the advancement of cancer treatment and resultant research.
