Overview

Dr. D.K. Jhamb, Chief of Cardiology (Unit IV), Artemis Hospitals, Gurugram, is a well-known cardiologist with experience in clinical and interventional cardiology of more than 30 years. He has graduated from MAMC, Delhi University, with an applied specialization in MD and a DM in Cardiology at AIIMS, New Delhi. Dr. Jhamb has been instrumental in setting up various cardiac departments in major hospitals, namely the National Heart Institute and Escorts Heart Institute. He is an expert in coronary angiography, angioplasty, EPS and RF ablation, TAVI, mitral clip procedures, and intensive care device implants (pacemakers, defibrillators, etc.). He has conducted a greater number of coronary angiograms (50,000) and angioplasties (25,000), and device implant surgeries (more than 2,000). Dr. Jhamb is a known speaker both at a national and an international level, and he has won many prizes due to his input in cardiovascular care and tutoring, making him a leader in his field.
