Dr. Madhu Roy is considered to be a top gynaecologist who has a lot of experience in Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Medicine (more than 43 years). She has been a senior consultant at Apollo Hospitals. She has an MBBS and an MD from Allahabad University. Dr. Roy also attained good international experience through her three-year stint in the United Kingdom, working in hospitals. She has been a member of some of the most prestigious professional associations like the Association of Gynecologists and Obstetricians of Delhi (AOGD), the Indian Menopause Society (IMS), the National Association of Reproductive and Child Health of India (NARCHI), and the Federation of Obstetricians and Gynecologists Society of India (FOGSI). Her major achievements can be outlined as a lung transplant member of the first team of pioneers in Apollo Jubilee Hills hospital, and subsequently the organizing chair of the First International Conference on Lung Transplantation in Hyderabad. She bagged the best outgoing postgraduate gold medal of Dr Rajagopalan, NTR University of Health Sciences, too. It was on pregnancy and heart disease that she wrote her MD thesis, and this was evidence of her research interest.
