Dr. Vikas Gupta is one of the distinguished orthopaedic surgeon (hand and upper extremity surgery) associated with Max Healthcare. He has over three decades of experience and his important postings include that of Director of Hand & Upper Extremity Surgery at Medanta Bone and Joint Institute and Associate Professor at AIIMS. He has expertise in complex procedures, including India’s first on ceramic wrist replacement and over 6,000 successful surgeries. Dr. Gupta breaks new ground in orthopaedic advancements with the completion of fellowships at Mayo Clinic (USA) and the AO Freiberg (Germany). He has done his MBBS from AIIMS, New Delhi, and his MS in Orthopaedics. He is a Best Paper Award recipient (2004) and Marquis WHO in Asia (2007), and a key member of very respectable groups like the Indian Orthopaedic Association and Indian arthroscopy society.
